Type of fiscalization: Hardware-based fiscalization system

In Sweden, the cash register must be connected to the control unit device or control system. The use of the cash register is obligatory when there is a sale of goods or services. Also, issuing receipts to customers is mandatory and certain new obligations must be fulfilled as of 2023.

Not to forget to mention one really important thing around fiscalization – certification.
Certification is required for control unit devices and systems. It is done before they are placed on the market, and it is the responsibility of the manufacturers of these devices. The cash register will be connected to the control unit device and tested together with it, then it will be considered valid, and in accordance with the legal and technical legislation.
