Type of fiscalization: Hardware

Romania is on the map of fiscal countries since 1999. Since then, there have been two changes of fiscal regulations – first one in 2003, and the second one published in November 2017.

New regulation brought even more specifically defined communication and data exchange with ANAF (National Agency for Fiscal Administration), done by fiscal printer. All data have to be stored into SD card. Receipt layout contain new fiscal information and there are extra information about items that has to be sent to the printer. The new fiscal device include 2 additional VAT rates and it is allowed to program new payment types.
