Type of fiscalization: Hardware

Fiscal regulation in Hungary is conceptualized on fiscal device usage, meaning the whole solution is used in the store for creating and issuing of receipts. Fiscal device requirements include fiscal printer and POS application, and both must be certified before usage. Certificate is issued by NAV (Hungarian Tax and Customs Office)

Strict handling of integration of the POS software with the printer (error handling, mandatory functionalities) are also defined within the law.
