Type of fiscalization: Hardware

Currently, the main fiscal regulation in Bulgaria, based on fiscal device, is from 2006. However, new changes to the regulations were done in September 2018, and come into force on January 1st, 2019, with the adjustment period until the 31st July 2019.

What is new?

Some of the important new requirements are: USN number generated by POS software at the beginning of the transaction, use of QR code on the receipt layout, special voucher handling, special rules for e-shops, etc. There are also some important issues related to the certification process itself.
